Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, popularly known as Lady Gaga, was born on March 28, 1986, in the New York City. Her passion for creative expression transformed her into an international pop star. She started playing piano at the age of 4. She went on to acquire her education in the field of music. At the age of 13, Lady Gaga composed her first piano ballad. Her first performance at the age of 14 happened in a New York nightclub. Gaga went to the New York University’s Tisch School of Arts. Her school life paved way for enhancing her songwriting skills.

At the age of 20, Gaga was a popular songwriter for several famous artists. Her professional debut happened during the year 2007 and 2008. Gaga’s debut album was titled “The Fame” which she had written and composed herself. It was a huge success in the U.S. and was acclaimed well with positive reviews. Gaga soon launched her creative team and started performing. Her first debut performance “Just Dance” was released in the year 2008. Her performance was commercially acclaimed and the song was offered a nomination for the prestigious Grammy Awards.

The year 2011 saw her next album “Born This Way” which was also a huge commercial success. However, her third album titled “Art Pop” did not resonate well. Lady Gaga’s performance as Countess in the American Horror Story Series won her the prestigious Golden Globe Award.
